2021 COMMUNITY VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR AWARD RECIPIENT

As a long time START Executive Board Member providing mentorship, advocacy and support, Jeff is also the founder of Folks Wagons Inc. Folks Wagons Inc helps those people in need within the Stoughton Area School District by reparing their used cars and if necessary providing replacement vehicles to families and individuals in need. In addition to providing these vehicles, Folks Wagons provides parts and services for these vehicles until it is no longer needed. START is a proud partner with Folks Wagons Inc. while serving as a direct referral agency.

Folks Wagons has given over 70 vehicles to those in need since 2000.

"Dear Jeff,
I just wanted to take a moment to write you and say thank you. Back in 2003 you helped me and my family to get back on our feet. You were so wonderful to give such help to your community and a family that had no where to turn...

Jeff, would you please forgive my debt to you? Your "helping hand" was not wasted on a "taker." It was used to bless so many others through my volunteer work and then I also acquired another vehicle (through a loan at a bank) and I gave that van to another needy family with handicapped children... including licensing and titling as you did for me.
